THIRD MAINLAND BRIDGE TO BE CLOSED FOR ANOTHER TWO WEEKS.
Uploaded by Michael George on January 9, 2021
Traffic on the Lagos bound stretch of Third Mainland Bridge will be closed for two weeks with effect from the thirteenth to twenty-seventh of January.
This is to enable the contractor to remove, replace and cast in place joint twenty-three.
This is contained in a letter from the Federal Ministry of Works to the Commissioner of Transportation in Lagos State.
The closure of the entire stretch is because joint twenty-three extends two kilometres to Oworoshonki from the present diversion point and will affect commuters going to Yaba via Adekunle.
After this, traffic on the entire stretch inward and outward Lagos will be opened.
