Residents Of Lagos Community Raise Alarm Over Leakage Of Fuel Pipeline

Residents of Pipeline in Ile Epo area of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA are calling on the Lagos State Ministry of Environment to come to their aid.

This follows a petrol pipeline leakage in the axis noticed in the past three months.

Some residents who spoke with Radio One under the condition of anonymity explained that whenever they pump water into their homes, there are traces of Premium Motor Spirit in the water.

They claimed that on a daily basis, they get up to twenty to fifty litres of PMS when they pump water into their tank and also from their well.

The residents also alleged that illegal bunkering activities are also taking place in the area.

They appealed to concerned authorities to help look into the situation before it gets out of hands.
