President Buhari Receives Minimum Wage Report

President Muhammadu Buhari has received the report of the Bismark Rewane led Presidential Technical Advisory Committee on the Implementation of the N30,000 National Minimum Wage.

At a ceremony held today at the Aso Rock Villa Abuja, President Buhari thanked the committee members for working tirelessly to ensure that they deliver the report before the executive arm receive the new minimum wage bill from the National Assembly.

The President also commended the Budget Office of the Federation, the National Incomes, Salaries and Wages Commission, the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, the Federal Inland Revenue Service, the National Bureau of Statistics and the Central Bank of Nigeria for providing strong support to the committee in the course of its assignment.

The Presidential Technical Advisory Committee on the Implementation of the National Minimum Wage was inaugurated by President Muhammadu Buhari on the Ninth of January this year.
