Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu has urged parents and Guardians to warn their children and wards from vandalising companies owned by South Africans in Lagos.

The Governor made the call against the backdrop of attacks on Shoprite Complexes at Jakande and Sangotedo Area of Ajah by some unidentified people due to reported attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.

While reacting to the reprisal of some youths in Lagos, Governor Sanwo-olu opined that two wrongs can never make a right, hence the need for residents to remain calm.

Governor Sanwo-olu noted that the Nigerian and Lagos spirit are not known for violence but for accommodation and benevolence.

The Governor assured Lagos residents that the Federal Government is already in dialogue with South African Authorities to stop this obnoxious act.
