LAGOS ANNOUNCES MEASURES FOR RELAXING LOCKDOWN.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has announced the measures that would be observed as the state relaxes the lockdown.
Commercial vehicles are to carry only sixty percent of their capacities, motorcycle operations remain banned while tricycle operators are to carry only two passengers.
Similarly, all the air-conditioning systems in BRT buses are to be put off while passengers are not allowed to stand in any commercial bus.
In addition vehicles and their parks should be decontaminated, they should provide hand sanitizers or hand washing facilities.
Governor Sanwo-Olu said that private companies that would be working after the lockdown must adhere to all advisories on curtailing the spread of Corvid-19 in their premises.
He directed Banks and other financial Institutions can reopen as from the fifth from nine o clock in the morning till three o clock in the afternoon.
Markets will also be allowed to operate within the same hours but on on selected days with both sellers and buyers using face marks.
Eateries and restaurants are permitted to serve only take-aways and home deliveries while shopping Malls would open but with sixty percent of staff and everybody observing 2-metre social distancing .
Governor Sanwo-Olu advised
the elderly to stay indoors and come out for medical related issues only.
