Detectives are questioning the founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, over the rape allegation levelled against him by Busola, a photographer and wife of popular singer, Timi Dakolo.

The Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Frank Mba, stated this in a chat with newsmen in Abuja.

The force image maker also said the investigation of Fatoyinbo was proof that the police had not swept the matter under the carpet as was being insinuated in some quarters.

DCP Mba noted that the police has done a whole lot of background investigations and spoken to a lot of people before now as it was a deliberate investigative procedure to speak with Pastor Fatoyinbo after all Investigations

Mrs. Dakolo accused the pastor of raping her twenty years ago while she was still a teenager.

It would be recalled that the pastor had shunned a panel set up by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria to investigate the rape allegations, stating that he was advised by his lawyers not to appear before the panel because it was prejudiced and may not conduct an impartial session.
