As the nation battles the second wave of COVID 19 pandemic, the Lagos State Government says it has put robust strategies in place to contain community spread of the virus in the State.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu stated this while giving an update on COVID 19 and other related matters at Lagos House, Alausa-Ikeja.
The Governor who attributed the surge in COVID19 cases to negligence on the part of residents urged Lagosians to adhere strictly to safety Protocols in a bid to flatten the curve of the virus.
He also advised travellers in and out of Lagos, to comply with guidelines on testings and self-isolation put in place by the government
On school resumption, Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized that the Ministry of Education would continue to monitor compliance level in schools, while defaulters risk their schools been closed.
Correspondent Yemisi Dada reports that the Governor hinted on collaboration with the private sector for the supply of more oxygen in its isolation centres.
