APC Wins Kano North/South Senatorial Seat

The All Progressive Congress, APC has won the Kano North Senatorial polls conducted in the State on Saturday.

INEC Returning Officer of Kano North Senatorial polls, Professor Tijani Abdullahi disclosed this while announcing the results in Bichi Local Government area of the State.

Prof Abdullahi said APC senatorial candidate Barau Jibril Polled two hundred and eighty six thousand, four hundred and nineteen
while Ahmad Garba Bichi of people Democratic party, PDP scored one hundred and fifty five thousand, six hundred and eighty three

Barau Jibril having scored the highest number of votes was declared winner.

Meanwhile in Kano-South Senatorial polls, APC candidate Kabiru Gaya polled 319,004 while Abdullahi Sani Rogo of People Democratic Party PDP scored 217,520 Votes.

The INEC returning officer of the Kano South Senatorial Poll professor Ibrahim barde stated this while announcing the results in Kano Local Government area.

Kabiru Gaya having the scored the highest votes was declared winner. 

Abdullahi Jalaluddeen Kano.
