40 YEARS OLD JUDGE SWORN IN IN LAGOS AS HIGH COURT JUDGE.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has sworn-in two new Judges of the State High Court.

They are Justice Olubukola Aigbokhaevbo who until her appointment was the Deputy Chief Registrar, Special Duties, Lagos Division and Justice Rahman Oshodi who is forty years old and once acted as Secretary to the Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the section on Business law.

The duo took their oath of office amid strict COVID-19 protocols at the Exco Chamber of the Lagos House, Alausa.

Governor Sanwo-Olu urged the new Judges to leverage on their performances to take the State Judiciary to a greater height, through proper and efficient administration of Justice.

While acknowledging the support given to his administration by the Judiciary in the State, Governor Sanwo-Olu pledged continued collaboration, as well as the fulfilment of all promises made to the arm of government.

In her Vote of thanks on behalf of the duo, Justice Olubukola Aigbokhaevbo who commended Governor Sanwo-Olu for his passion for effective Justice dispensation assured that they will contribute their quota in deepening justice system in the state

Our Correspondent Yemisi Dada reports that the event was the first major assignment of the State Government this year in cognisance of the reality of the second wave of COVID 19 pandemic.
